Should I buy a 05 TL gray with 43K miles on it for 13K. I has a Recondition title. It wasnt a salvage title.

Thats real cheap? Take it to a good mechanic and have him look it over 100%, usually you pay a couple hundred dollars for this, but its worth it.

have the car up on a lift, and check the chassis for any bends

If it was just a fender bender with some painted parts its okay but as ABP said you gotta take a look for frame damage!

thanks for the advice. the seller wants to get a coupe, thats why he is sellling it. But i really want to get a lower price since it is a salvage title. What price should i aim for...like 11.5K or 12.5K ?

offer him 10K, the car isn't worth anything to the dealer. He can't sell it on his lot. We dump these right away. I seen a 04 TL get traded in with 100K miles, salvage title for 4K bux.

I would have a mechanic look it over, and have him do an alignment on it also. This will tell you nothing, or everything about its condition.

Like Das said above, 10K is a good offer. Chances are he is making ALOT of money cuz he probably got it real cheap and now he wants to unload it to you for a big profit. If he says no, you walk away.
