Service Schedule

Does anyone have the service schedule and miles you should bring your car in? Just hit a little over 10,000 miles and had an oil change and the 7,500 service I think.

Also, if this is redundant (I'm sure there is a post here somewhere detailing this) what is your opinion on their schedule? Is it too much service? Rip off?

For the most part you can do your service yourself. I just did my 15k mile service, oil change and tire rotation.

The TL uses the Maintenance Minder system for maintenance as codes pop up in the MID, not a mileage-based system. Mileage-based maintenance is extraneous/unnecessary.

Check the maintenance section pages of your owner's manual (around p. 210 or so, i believe) for the code explanations. See here for manuals for every Honda/Acura for the past 10 years or so: https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp

Is this link in a sticky somewhere (I remember the URL but can't seem to locate the source at this point)? It is a great resource.

Yes- link "iii" in the 3G TL Garage, which is stickied on our main page.

Maybe I'll send a PM to the mods to ask them about a dedicated sticky for the manuals.

That would be a good idea I think.
