On your guages - the MID will alert you when you need to go in for service and it will tell you what service you need. You can ingnore the sticker as the car is going to tell you waht service is needed based on the way the car has been driven. Scroll through the MID and you can find the current oil life in %. When it is time for service it will give you a message code such as A1, B1, etc. in your users manual it outlines what each code means.

At 10500 miles the TL doesn't require anything special per se.. What I would do if I were you is just have the oil changed and tires rotated/balanced - basically all you would need up to the 10K mark anyway. Doing this then reseting the MID would start you off fresh, thus knowing exactly were you are on oil changes, type of oil, etc., etc..
Thats what I have always recommended for used vehicles.

The stickers I've seen on windshields usually refer to oil changes. When you take it to a shop or to one of the fast oil change places they put a sticker on the windshield with a date about 3 months into the future and 3,000 to 3,500 miles later. I wouldn't worry too much about it and just follow what the MID says.
