Ordered a Bando and Mitsuboshi serpentine belts. Ill return which ever i dont use. Question is one of these better than the other? Bando is made in usa , mitsuboshi is made in thailand. Bando was like 14 bucks on amazon, mitsuboshi 30.
also. When replacing the belt is there anything else i should replace like the tensioner or any pulleys?
Amazing the price difference for the "OEM" Bando $40.59 and the branded Bando 6PK2135 $13.72 from Bando on Amazon. Kinda like the recommended LUK clutch kit and Aisin TB/Water Pump kits.
I bought the Bando 6PK2135 from Rockauto a few years ago and paid around that $13-$15 range. I'm trying to decipher your post lol, are you saying that perhaps the Bando belt from https://www.oemacuraparts.com/oem-pa...do-38920rcaa01 could be a different belt then the one from Rockauto or?
^ no they most definitely the same belt. I just replaced the A/C compressor on my 05 3G 6MT, ~$240 Denso from Rock Auto versus ~$1100 Acura, for the same part except the Denso is shipped in a Denso box versus a Acura box. I examined both after I removed the old compressor
