I will be looking for a set myself shortly. WeatherTech has them for $99, wondering if anyone here has the same ones;

like everyone said. go oem or don't put any visors on the car at all.
you can get oem from acktl05 for $145 shipped to your door i believe. on ebay and from the dealership they will charge ~$150 and add a few extra bucks for tax or shipping. total near ~$160ish.
oem visors are attached using both 3M tape and brackets. the 3m tape is already applied you just have to peel off the paper.
i'm just gonna show you these 3 pictures and let you decide on your own if you still want the cheap ugly AVS (Auto VentShade) or Weathertech over the OEM visors.

Do people use them because you are smokers? I'm a nonsmoker AND I think they look ugly on the 3G TL, so I really have no reason to install them. To me it seems like just another VatoZone part that you can bolt on like those faux fender vents. People seem to think the more stuff they can stick on the outside of their cars, the better.

the only reason i would consider getting these is so i could vent my windows during the summer.
I have a wind deflector on my type-s already.... Last week i decided that i was going to leave my sunroof cracked. Just a little so that it was covered by the wind deflector. I was thinking if i rained it wouldnt be a big deal. My office has no windows (i'm low man on the totem pole), and towards the end of the day i hear a loud clap of thunder. A guy walks by and I ask, hey is it going to rain? Dude says, its really coming down out there....
sooo i'm like oh damn it, i'm going to have a ton of water in my car bc it was a nasty storm... wind blowing the rain sideways and stuff.
I tell my co-worker i have to leave early (it was close enough to the end of the day) and haul ass outside, in the rain, to get to my car to close up that roof. I get in the car and there is only a little bit of water in the cup holder, not much at all. I'm all like, F yeah, this is awesome!!
I start to drive. I stop at the stop sign leaving my building and a whole bunch of water starts to pour out of the homelink area. Lucky I had a towel in my car but for the entire ride home, every turn or stop would cause water to come out of the thing. I get home, get on AZ, figure out how to take that console off and dry her off. Turns out the headliner was soaked pretty good and i had water in my vanity lights.
so yeah, the window vent-visors would be cool

I do not smoke, I actually use them when its raining and my windsheild fogs up....I just crack my windows instead of having the constantly use the defroster. Plus I like being able to get fresh air in the car even when its raining outside....
I think they look weird unless you paint match them, but once matched they dont bother me look wise, worth it to be able to get air in my car during storms....I am not much of an A/C person....unless its like 110 out I like the roll around with all the windows down, even when doing 80 on the highway
