Sealant used to seal headlights

I'm going to attempt to clear my headlights soon and I couldn't find what the name of the sealant is that is used to seal the headlights. I read some post where someone was using liquid gasket that honda uses to seal our headlights. What other sealant would be good to use? Any help is much appreciated.

here's where I got my headlight sealant:

http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5577&rsku=0

It is the Nissan OEM Sealant that a lot of people have used...it comes in a roll, and you can make the "bead" of sealant as thick or thin as you want. And it can be heated and reheated over and over like the OEM sealant. I haven't had any leaks or moisture since I used it (I did have problems with silicone)....overall, it works great!

Hondabond comes in a tube, which is what I didn't like about it. Squeezing it out of a tube can lead to uneven appication. The good thing about the Nissan oem sealer is that it comes in a roll and you can stretch it and fill the headlight channel evenly.

But the Hondabond works just as well.

You can also find this stuff at their respective dealerships.

Is one roll of the nissan stuff enough to do both headlights?

I'm glad I came across this thread when I did. I have the OEM paint on the way and remembered reading somewhere about the Nissan stuff working a lot better than the Honda Bond stuff.

I'd also like to know the answer to Kennedy's question as well .

it was plenty for me...i still had a decent amount left over after doing both headlights

i started by cutting it in half so that i wouldn't use too much on one light, but it wasn't an issue.

i don't think you could lay down a bead thick enough to finish the whole roll anyway
