Unhappy A sad, sad day....

Well, after about 6 months of contemplating selling my 2004 Acura TL, I have finally done it. It is truly a sad day. I just couldn't justify the expense any longer living across the street from work, and about 3 blocks from my gym I simply never used it.

In January/February alone, I only put 400KMs on the car... after 23 months of driving, I had a grand total of 13,800 KMs. . the bulk of which were in the first year. It doesn't help that my fiance's car is paid off and between the two of us, we drive somewhere maybe 3 times a week.

Ah well, it is an amazing car, and I am sure I will own another at some point in life when I actually need it. Thanks for all the info (Not that I ever posted very much).

Later.

Hey, here's what you should have done.

Move further away! Then you would have gotten the opportunity to use your TL more.

Don't you just hate when common sense prevails. At least you will get top dollar for your TL with such low mileage. Good luck.

Also a foot note to all other members here. Please do not post this type of message here anymore. I am in the same situation as NoRemorse. I purchased my '05 in August and have 3,200 mi. on it with multiple trips up north, and my wife sometimes reads these things and she may get an idea!

I hate that you had to let it go. But I understand your reasoning. Maybe its time to change your sig....

P.S. I am looking at your list of cars and they are the same ones I have/had. I had a 2001 Mustang GT, 1999 Mustang V6, 2004 Nissan Maxima. and I still have my 1998 Ford Escort and of course my 05 TL (Anthracite/Ebony, 6MT like yours.).

Oh the irony. Perhaps it time to change your nick to 'Remorse'.

Hmm... it's been exactly 2 months since I bought my car and I have over 7000 miles.. which is 11200km.. compare that with your 23months of 13800km... funny eh?? ^^

Although I am definitely sad to see the TL go, I cannot say I regret the decision. All I have to do is think about how much extra money I have floating around now, and I feel better about the whole thing .

Seriously though, it is like when I owned my Mustang... Glad I had the car no matter how short of a time it was in my garage, I am happy to have had the experiance of owning the car, the attention the car received and being the only 23 yr old in the city who could actually get his hands on one without "parental assistance"...

Finally, if you think the NoRemorse is ironic... the license plate was NVR DV8...

One of the perks to living downtown, you can walk whereever you want to go... probably should have done more road trips though, I think that would have been a lot of fun actually.... either way... nice...

Sorry to hear that. Does anyone else see the irony in this post and the posters login?
