Run with a TL-P and Silverado
Coming home from work today.....I was in the left lane doing about 60mph in a 55 zone and I was tailgated by a a guy speeding in a 02-03 TL-P...and behind him was a bruised up silverado with a big guy in it grinning like he was looking to mess around. I could see them coming up through all the traffic in my rear view. (I thought to myself, Hey it's a TL!)
He tailgated me for a while and I couldnt move over for them because of the traffic so i tried to get ahead of the cars because the freeway was clear ahead.
I moved over when the freeway was clear and there was a big stretch of 4 lane road ahead for about a good 2 miles so from 65mph I let em start to pass by, then turned off VSA gunned it on D5 for the hell of it...pulled on em and passed them up until about 130mph, then we were coming up on traffic again up ahead so i slowed down to 60 and they passed by weaving through the traffic.

Don't feed the...WTF?
I get trucks that want to race all the time. Word to the lurkers - if you don't drive a lightning or R/T, don't race us...lol
I've got a Ram 1500 that I drive when not in the TL, and it pisses me off how slow the thing is - I get passed all the time and there's nothing I can do about it.

That's true. But most of the diesels are 6 liter+ with turbos, so I'd respect that loss. It's the 1500's and F150's with ram hoods that think they are quick. The fast one's don't look like anything - they know it rather than show it.

My headers didn't line up correctly because it wasn't bent enough to connect to the front header so we had to re-bend the pipe a little bit. Most people havent had problems though. I was at the Twin Cities meet and saw the other guys installing a set on Slepybear's with no problems.

I took it to a guy with a garage and he did it for me. If I did it myself I probably woulda had a hard time getting the old bolts out...had to torch the bolts...not to mention I woulda been screwed after I found out the headers didn't align correctly lol. We reheated the metal and bent it slightly to make it fit perfectly.
