Easy as 1,2........................................3.

Replaced stock fog light bulbs with led bulbs with no problem. Took me about 15 minutes total time.

Then I moved on to replace the license plate bulbs from the outside.

Got the covers off and out no problem. Was able to get the bulbs out with my fingers after about 20 minutes of struggling.

Tested the LED bulbs and looked great.

Not bad.

Getting the lens covers back in place was TERRIBLE!!!

I don't know why in the world they would make this such a difficult task. It literally took me about an hour of coaxing and forcing these lenses back through the opening so they would snap back on properly. That was the absolute worst. No real scratching or damage done.

But it is possible. So patience, persistence and a whole lot of swearing as another poster stated, is what helped me complete this mod. Will post a pic of both a little later today.

I think I'm going to Dremel out those little license plate bulb openings so it makes it easier to do from the outside. My GF's Accord you can do from the outside, and it only takes 2 minutes. I don't know why on the TL they made it so narrow that you really can't do it (easily) from the outside. Just another one of the little things that pisses me off about the car.

Very nice. I got my license plate lights from VLEDs (5K), and they look fantastic. It's lowest lumen rating in that base type, and still much brighter than the OEM bulbs. Link: 5K WHITE HIGH POWER LED BULBS 194 168 158 80LM | 1 PAIR - 194 - 168 - 158 LED - Shop Bulb #

My reverse lights I purchased from iJDMTOY through Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I purchased them because I've had them before and they looked great, but this time around, they are a little more blue than what I'm used to, so I won't be buying them anymore, and going with VLEDs only from now on.
