seriously? you're going to work on your brakes and dont know which brakes you need?- the descriptions say if its for brembo or not--if your front calipers have the word BREMBO painted on...

Centrics are considered OE quality replacements--not better.
A few other great choices in real brakes can be found with the search feature here

Crossdilled rotors that were not originally designed for that to occur- are weakened by the process and tend to crack at the holes
Unless you live at 5000 feet and commute to sea level or race auto-x, not much need for crossdrilled in street situations

I agree....You get what you pay for,and looking at those for 222 dollars for front and rear, seems like sub-par steel and cheap low cost pads. imho,I would never buy drilled rotors,I would get dimpled rotors. The holes will eventually turn into hairline cracks.I put EBC Sport Rotors(slotted, dimpled) and Green Stuff pads on the front of mine.Best brakes I've had!!I think it cost me about 300 for 2 rotors and 4 pads from Autoanything.com

ok, so is your car an automatic or a manual?

A-Spec does not refer to Brembo brakes, those are standard on any manual or Type-S TL. A-Spec only effects the brakes on AT models, and that's only with the pads.

If you have an AT and want a big brake kit, i would probably choose an aftermarket brand rather than swapping AT and MT brake parts. If you just want to upgrade pads and rotors then you could go with the A-Spec pads and keep OEM rotors, or do what i did and get something like the RacingBrake pad and rotor upgrades. I went with the more aggressive ET500 pads with the RB one-piece rotors.

gotcha!

this is where is went:

http://www.heeltoeauto.com/Heeltoe-B...-pr-40006.html

and i went with the one piece RB rotors and ET500 pads for both the front and back. it is a GREAT upgrade and they also look wonderful! i had the stock rotors with the aspec pads and they were nice as well, but the RBs were an improvement over that for sure. and "Enter Coupon Code acurazinerocks for 5% off!"

Racing Brake FTW. Heeltoe is a good vendor and he'll hook you up with exactly what you need; no fitment issues, etc.

you cant upgrade your car by simply buying the brembo cars rotor and pad--they are totally different and requires about a grands worth of parts to do the swap from the normal 1 piston caliper. The rotor itself is 1 inch larger diameter and clearance to steering requires different parts there too

RacingBrake` www.racingbrake.com ` brand is on many ziners cars- and a lot of performance based or heavy and fast cars- race cars etc,,its the performance division of a supplier to many cars made in usa
ET300 pads for wife drives it most of the time
ET500 pads for you drive it with more aggressive braking~ but street use mainly
Not great serious track day pads but work fine for noob to track days

honestly, you'd be better off purchasing a different set of pads...ie hawk pads
a-spec "pads" are no better than the OE pads...

you will end up with a noise each and every time you apply the brakes. Just keep what you have and upgrade the pads

i totally disagree. i bought my car and it came with the aspec pads, and the first time i drove a loaner on the freeway and applied the brakes i thought i was going to drive through the car in front of me. the aspec suspension and pads make a huge difference in the overall performance of this car. and i felt the same on every loaner i ever had. they did not compare to the aspec pads. but i cant say anything about the hawks...never had.

Would the ET300 pads work well with a quality solid blank rotor? I am deciding between the ET300 and A-Spec pads.
