Rotora brakes?

I use my TL for regular everyday driving and occasional fast take offs. I'll most likely get the Rotora rotors, but I want to know how good are the Rotora pads. Do they stop good. Do they dust a lot? I hate cleaning my rims so often cause of heavy dust. Appriciate any feedback.

I have the Rotora double plated BBk system on my Front and Rears. They stop on the dime and I don't even have to apply much pressure. The only thing is they are very dusty but lucky my wheels are gunmetal

The ROTORA ceramic pads are low dust and low noise pads with good bite. The ROTORA slotted rotors or drilled/slotted rotors with the pads are a good combination for most daily drivers.

All pads need to be bed in. The bed in procedure transfers a layer of material from the pad onto the disc. When that material is evenly distributed you get smooth braking. When it is uneven you will get a shimmy or vibration in the pedal.

Why? Because I don't do any type of performance driving and stand to gain little from slotted brake rotors.

I've read all of the threads for / against slotted or drilled rotors...... and I just don't gain from them..... I'll save my money and get blanks because all it will be on my car is eye candy.

And as far as it being eye candy, I try to avoid it because it seems you can't have anything nice on your vehicle without making yourself a target for some sort of theft.....

^ understand what you mean... but for our cars the only blanks aside from cheap ebay one's are the one's from the dealer... and a few other generic one's... brembo makes slotted one's which are also available in cross drilled (factory brembo fitment not available for non brembo)

I;m in the same boat and need new brakes. I have heard that if you have slotted rotors, they eat you pads quickly and also can glaze your pads. Is this true at all? Also I notice that excellerate said MOST daily drivers, I do mostly highway driving with about 20% city, is it worth it to get the cross-drilled and/or slotted rotors?
