Roof Drip Side Moulding

2007 TLs NBP

I had my car detailed over the weekend. They burned my roof drip side moulding with the buffer.
Does any one know how to remove it or has a removal procedure because i want to replace mine.

they also burned my body side moulding is it possible to get those individual or it only comes in the kit.
if i remove it to get painted can they be reusable or i would have to get new ones again?

Was it at the dealer? Or body shop? Tell them to replace it... their fault..

Exactly

I'd be nervous of whats left of my clear coat if they burned that much .

You should get them to make good on it, but if you want to do it yourself, the instructions are in this thread, last two scans.

The body side moldings are only available as a set, as far as I know. They are easily removed but you will need some new tape to put them back on. Many people say they have used the 3M heavy duty double sided tape available at Home Depot or Lowes. But any body shop should be able to repaint them without removing them.

You want to share the name of this place so everyone will know where not to go for detailing?
