Resonator Chamber Cover Needed?

While working on my non-CAI TL, I lost one of the two push in clips that holds (the air in cover )in place.

This cover is under the battery cover and covers the top of the pipe that is used to get air to the throttle body(before the filter).

Since the top of the pipe is basically protected by the battery cover, do you think its okay not to have the little cover in place?
Seems like just another way to block much needed air with the cover in place.

I can't figure out how to copy the link but it's Item #7 at this site.

I think you should use the 1 clip that you have. Anybody can correct me if im wrong, but that piece you are describing is what directs the air from outside to go to your intake system when you are driving, rather than sucking in warmer air that is around the engine.

Understand?
If you get a chance, just stop by the dealer and pick up another clip, they may just give you one for free
