Back in early 2004 when I joined this forum a bunch of guys started electing themselves as officers of various TL clubs which were based on exterior car colours. I engaged in this silly exercise and became the SSM VP Legal for Canadian Operations and set up my signature to reflect the same.

Well after 4 years of holding this exalted title I am now forced to resign. I am surrendering my SSM Navi Auto on Thursday and picking up an 08 Type S automatic in MBP.

I was a little reluctant to get an 08 because it may be a bit of an orphan in the fall. However, given the deals on leased TLs available in Toronto it just didn't make any sense to move to an Infiniti, BMW, Audi or Lexus.

If I enjoy the new TL half as much as I enjoyed my SSM Navi Auto I am in for a fun 3 years on my new lease.

So this is the last time I will sign off with the SSM VP signature.

Since the SSM colour is no longer available, I suspect that the fact that you are not Canadian nor, I presume, a lawyer may not prove to be an impediment to getting the promotion.
