I just had my oil changed at the dealer after 4100 miles. They reset the MID display so it now says "oil life 100%" or something similar. When the MID is reset after an oil change what happens to upcoming maintenance calculations. For example, does a 7000 mile maintenance get now computed from 0 miles or from the 4100 that the car actually has? I like the comcept of the MID but don't want to miss out on a proper maintenance interval. Thanks. Steve

Other service items are computed individually, so resetting the MID will not affect the calculation for other items.
