Question Repair in Service Department

Quick question - when you guys need to have something fixed (e.g. rattles, squeaks...), did you talk to your dealer and then let he talk to the service department or you call the service department directly? I visited my dealer today with my rattle list at 6:00pm, at the minute he saw the list, he said I should call service department and schedule it directly. :argue: Thank you for your advice ....

I ususally call to SVC manager/consultant and ask for the service appointment. They will make sure what my car is scheduled for, then manage the proper/possible date/time for me. Furthermore, if it taks longer than the half days, I will get my loaner car.

The service department is THE place to go. The dealer is the dealer, but the service department does the service. You would only need to see the dealer if the service department really screwed up.

dealers just sell you the car, the service department fixes the cars. just call them directly and schedule an appointment.
