Guys,
I am new in this forum.I currently purchased a white pearl TL 07, everything is fine except for the car paint was damaged badly. I am planning to repaint it, one bodyshop quoted me with original tristate paint ~3500, others quote me ~2000 white pearl but not from acura. Have anyone done a repaint job b4 please direct me. Other option i might think about is vinyl and plsti dip but I was told those quality is low.

 

Its a tricoat paint. The white diamond pearl. There is no way in hell a bodyshop would do a good job based off the 3500. Materials and paint alone is alot. For reference, I just got my tl back from the bodyshop. I had the front bumper replaced and painted, hood painted, both fenders painted, front aspec lip painted, roof painted black, both a pillars and quarter panels painted and windshield replaced. total was around 4000.

4000 is a fair price and the work is immaculate. Paint came out absolutely perfect and its an A+ recommended shop. What is included in that 3500 cost??

Also 2000 is ridiclously wayyyy to low to get the whole car painted
