Removing rear bumper

I have some questions for the people that removed their rear bumper before.

Is it hard to remove the rear bumper by yourself? Are there any special tools that are required? The manual says that "KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014" is required. Is this only used in removing the painted plastic cover for where the 2 bolts are?

Is it easy to get the rear bumper off the hooks?

What's a good tool to get to remove the screws that's between the rear tires and the rear inner fender? I hate to have to take the tires off.

I did a search and I have the diagrams.

Just wanted to know if it's something you can do by yourself and if the KTC trim tool set is really required.

That's how I do it also. I did that when I installed the splash guards. I went to home depot to see if they had anything that could fit in there and I couldn't find anything.
