Removing Rear Bumper on '04 TL
Can anyone out there help me with instructions, tips, pictures, etc detailing how to remove the rear bumper and tail lights on a 2004 TL.
Like an A$$ I backed into a column in my office parking garage. Freakin' thing had an iron drainage pipe sticking out of it which pushed in the right rear corner of my bumper and cracked my taillight.
I've gotten a few estimates and it all boils down to the same (around $900). The sad part is that the parts are only about $400 (bumper cover and taillight), so the rest is mostly labor and paint. Since I have back-up sensors on the bumper, I am going to have a pro do the bumper, but I want to save some money doing the light myself.
You may be asking yourself at this point "he has sensors and he still hit the column?" XM Channel 65 was running a decades special showcasing the best hip-hop of the 90's. I had the radio cranked to 40, so if the sensor went off, I didn't hear it.
I have been beating myself up about this all week, so please go easy on me
