bought an 04 TL no remote FOB's included

does it matter the FCC # for the remotes.
this is available
FCC ID #E4EG8D-444H-A; # G8D-444H-A MEMORY 1
and so is this
FCC: ID OUCG8D-387H-A IC: 850G-G8D387HA G8D-387H-A
what is the difference between the two, dealer only knows part# knows nothing about the FCC# behind the remote. also both have Memory1 and Memory 2 options.

go back to the dealer and tell them to give you 2 fobs that or a new TL

Why would there be no remotes? You should get them with your car.

There's no reason for you to get a car with no FOB. Where did you purchase your car from?

If he bought it used, maybe it came as/is, and maybe he asked for the remotes and they told him he would have to pay for them if he wanted them. Which is what happened to me when I bought my 1G TL, so I bought 1 remote which they sold me at cost. So now he's looking for a place to get them cheaper than the dealer will charge.

I bought the car from N.A.D.A (wholesale dealers auction on the east coast in NJ.
the car came with no remotes 1 key and no manuals. Peple tend to steal them at the auction I saw alot of newer cars with no FOB's there. I see lots for sale on ebay. they are much cheaper than dealer its just I dont know which FCC code to get because they all claim 2004 on ebay but they wont accept returns if it is not the right one purchased.

FCC: ID OUCG8D-387H-A IC: 850G-G8D387HA G8D-387HA is exactly what is on both of my TL keyfobs, so if you get that one it should be the one you need.

One of the fobs says Memory 1 and the other one says Memory 2, so if you order two make sure they say Memory 1 and Memory 2, but if you only need one, either one will work.

There are two separate part numbers listed, 72147-SEP-A52 for memory 1, and 72147-SEP-A62 for memory 2. List price is $83.31, your cost at Sunnyside Acura is $66.71.
