Do the rear seats in the 04+ models fold down? I've been looking at buying a used TL but I see some listing that says the rear seat folds and then I've read some reviews that says the seats don't fold down. Which is it? If they don't fold for extra cargo, has that bothered any current owners?

they don't fold down. however, they do have a arm rest.

The only thing that folds down is the center arm rest for a pass-thru. Other than that, the seat is fixed in place. I, personally, have had no problem with this. My last car (2000 Accord) had the fold down rear seat and I could probably count on one hand the number of times I used that feature in the 6 years I owned it. Plus the trunk (while not large by any stretch of the imagination) is decent size for cars in this class.

they don't fold down and it doesn't bother me at all since i fortunately don't have to use the TL for hauling.

The only time I've folded down my back seats in my 2000 accord was to adjust the stereo that was mounted on it.

These don't and don't bother me at all. It was a bit of a pain installing and tuning the stereo on it but worked out in the end.
