I`m looking for a functional mirror to see my baby in his rear facing car seat that doesn`t look stupid in my nice ebony interior. I`m also looking for things to shield him from the sun that don`t have cartoons and crap on them, something that also matches the car.

Will getting the rear and side windows tinted 35% be enough protection for the baby sitting in the back?

i have 20% on the rear and 35% on sides. my wife is due in july. i think it's enough. if not, get one of those shades that can be removed.
