ive been looking for rear lip spoilers on ebay and saw that alot of people bought theirs from the spoilerstore. i was wondering if anyone has gotten theirs from this store?

i've seen a couple of lip spoilers sold on ebay and they are alot smaller than the factory lip spoiler and dont really look that nice on the back. If your buying it from a dealer that has an ebay store and they have a good price then at least you know its genuine parts but if its from a store online, id be a little careful with it, it might not look like what you see online. One guy i know bought a spoiler on ebay and it was half the size of the factory spoiler and looked really bad on the car. just my thoughts though.

That lip is an exact replica of the factory piece except you don't need to drill any holes in your trunk to put it on like the factory piece. Their paint match is usually pretty good too.

Go for it, it's a nice piece that many members here have on their cars.

I got mine on Ebay from thespoilerstore or something. The link OP provided looks to be the same that I got, just from a different seller.




It looks just like the factory piece, paint matches nicely, fits perfect. Get it.

I REALLY DOUBT it.. this thing weighs probably 2 lbs AT MOST! .. I put this on my gfs gs.. looks soo clean.. and the paint was perfect.. Just used double sided tape.. it has been on for 2 years now.. just prep the area right

Here's my $.02...

1. Buy from thespoilerstore. No where else.
2. Clean the trunk really well, prep where lip is going to stick with rubbing alcohol.
3. MAKE SURE YOU MEASURE BEFORE INSTALL!! The tape sticks like crazy.
4. Final measure, install, wipe with cloth, step back and enjoy!

No trunk spring change needed, and as was stated above, prep right and the double sided tape is plenty. My paint match isn't 100%, but then again I have an '06 anthracite and my aspec kit doesn't match perfect either, from any angle. Get it IMO. You'll like it.

i was thinkin that since its from ebay store and not an oem, it might look bad, but from most of the aziners that bought the lip which came from The Spoilerstore, they look pretty good with nice color match. unfortunately they do not sell a dgp so was wondering if the anyone got there from spoilercompany.

i got mine from ebay when i just got the car . the spoiler was cheep and painted. honestly i wish i had got the original one.

I think many of us here would be SHOCKED if they start disassembling the TL (or any car made in the past 20 years really) and realize how plasticky and "cheap" cars are these days.

I got mine from the spoilerstore as well and some say its even better then the OEM one. I wanted the Type-S one but its like $500 just for a rear lip.. Heres a pic of mine from the spoilerstore. I like it a lot and paint match was great.
