i was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem i just bought a 05 tl and in the top nuts on the rear license plate assembly there was a rusted broken screw is there anyway to take these nuts off to replace please help very irritated

Go to a hardware store, get yourself a screw extractor, those will get em out for you

i tried that the extracter broke off in it

drill it out. start small and work your way up. and use some PB BLASTER

so i take there is no way to take them off without hurting the car even more

You can remove the license plate area, and do it, but seriously what brand screw extractor did you get? Because you have to drill an area for the extractor to be able to bite into the screw before you remove it.
