Rear-Ended!
Long story short, was driving right lane on divided 4 lane road, when 2-3 cars ahead of me, some idiot stop abruptly causing everyone to brake hard. I was able to stop in time, but the Mustang behind me started to lock up his tires. As I heard this I tried to inch up closer to the car in front of me, but sure enought, WHAM! He hit squared center on my rear, probably about 10mph. Everything was OK, as I braced for the impact. $700+ damage to replace the lower rear bumper.
As this creates a big headache to get fixed and being without my TL for a few days, I was quite surprise how the car held up despite the impact. Thought I heard something about the TL not doing too well on the rear bumper test.

It was a 98 Mustang GT. Minor scratches to the front bumper and the mustang logo broke off from force of impact. Do you guys ever get the feeling that on-lookers sometimes get to close or pull abrupt lane changes just to get a closer look at the 04 TL? Man it drives me nuts and scares me sometimes. :argue:
