Rattle coming from center AC vent
my real question here is how do you remove the plastice piece above the NAV screen? the one with the center vents, clock, hazard light switch, etc? does it pull up or does it pull forward? i tugged on it but it really didn't budge and i don't want to break it. thanks in advance for any advice.

it's very tight. you pull towards to back of the car. dealers have a special tool for it, basically a hook you put into the vents then hook onto the outside edges and pull.
BTW, you need to take off the two aluminum trim pieces first, if you don't know yet.
some clips may get loose and drop down below...

awesome, thanks for the tips. i may just take it to dealer and hope they fix it under warranty. i will take the bulletin with me cause it does seem to only happen when it's very warm.
