Let me tell you guys, the C63 gave me the most competition out of any car I've ran. I was just cruising with the top down in the Vette tonight when these two kids (looked like they were in high school) roll up on my drivers side and yell out if I want to run it. I gave them a nod, downshifted to 2nd at 50, gave 3 honks and we were off (road was wide open). I immediately pulled out 1/2 car, but he stayed pretty close with me. By 120 mph, I was only able to pull about 1 and 1/2 cars on him. I was shocked. If you guys run into one of these things, know that they are no joke.

X2. I was looking at the times on these cars just now and they seem to be high 12 sec cars (btw, faster than the new M3 in numerous head-to-head tests). My Vette is a low-mid 12 sec car and if I had the top up, I should have pulled more. Also, I have no idea if this C63 was modded or not.

 

wow i'm suprised you won espically with the top down too!! The c63 is right on par with your corvette both are mid to low 12sec cars.!! Nice kill though.

Sounds about right...you guys have around the same power(he may have a little more) and even the vert vette is a good bit lighter than the benz...

Nice kill, C63s run low-mid 12s or about the same as your car, but I could see your car walking away at higher speeds.

 

Yea, I was starting to pull a bit quicker on him as we hit 110+....if he didnt let off at 120 (and i had the top up) i would have put more distance on him.

 

The C63 is in fact an AMG.
