So has anyone taken their car in for the rear deck lid bass rattle? If so did they fix it and how? I fixed mine myself with foam because my dealer said that it was normal and didn't fix it. I wanted to choke them. Acura service dept in Escondido Ca. sucks. I want to go to the dealer with proof that another dealer did fix it and how it was fixed.

The only way that rattles should be considered "normal" are if you're a snake.

Hasn't that idjit ever heard of customer satisfaction? What if he just spent $35k+ (or $80k+ on an NSX) and it rattled? Think he would settle for it?

No rattle should be normal. I'd call Acura and complain about idiot service reps.

I had a rattle in the rear which turned out to be a defective strut. The Temecula dealer ordered the part and replaced it without any fuss.
