Quick Question about selling my 06 TL.

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well.

I am selling my 06 TL and could use a little assistance pricing it.

It has a professionally installed comptech supercharger, a hondata ecu reflash kit, 19 inch maya stm wheels, eibach pro suspension kit, koni adjustable shocks, comptech rear sway bar and a magnaflow muffler kit.

The car only has 23,000 miles and is in great shape. It was never raced or anything like that. I am 33 with kids and just enjoyed the car. I am selling it because I now have a company car.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
CWR

take off all your mods, and sell them seperately, 95 percent of the time people like to buy stock cars ... also is nav/ or nonnav? ... is it AT or MT?

roughly for an 06 with that mileage i would say between 25k - 27k, just a guess though

I agree with VQ. If you leave the mods on you will end up getting less for the car than if you take them off. People get scared when they see a car with that type of stuff because they will assume you beat it up. I'd say 25-26K for non-nav and ask 28 if you have nav. You should be able to get close those numbers if its a manual since there are fewer of them.

Quick Question about selling my 06 TL

I forgot to add that to the list. It is AT and it does have nav.

Thanks,

Take of ALL your mods, and sell them in BM... Then your car is ready to sell

Agreed, I sold cars at a dealership and we would never give extra money for mods, the car was always appraised as if it were stock, except maybe for wheels.

As all of the others have already said you need to return it to stock. This will net you the highest price possible. I would estimate the car in stock condition is worth 23 to 27k depending on tranny, nav, and area of the country.

Edmunds says the following:

Depending on Color, I put in black (NBP RULES!!!!) with 23K miles and navi, in "clean" condition meaning you have the minor damage which is expected but other than that is good. Price for trade in was 26K, private seller was 27K, and the dealer will attempt to sell it for 29K.

I recommend selling it to a private seller, as dealers will screw you over!!!

damn. post some pics of that car. sounds like a sweet ride !!

but , like everybody else has said. Definitely part with the modifications.

Used Comptech Blower = $2500
Maya Wheels w/ Tires = $2500
eibach & konis = $300~
comptech sway = $60
Mufflers... not sure about the setup... probably good for atleast $200, unless u modified your stock exhaust... then you will have to leave it

The more I think about it. I really do not want to mess with the car. Plus I do not have all of the stock parts still.

If anyone knows anyone interested in a car like this, let me know. I would be more than happy to provide a finders fee to someone who finds me a buyer.

Take care,
CWR
