Just a few questions..I'm thinking about ditching my B6 S4 before repairs get too high - the V8 is awesome, but it's been in and out of the shop like no other.
A tuned 335xi is literally my first choice; even stock it would probably hang with my Audi. Tuned it would be an absolute massacre. That said....
a) How fast does the JB4 actually feel over stock?
b) Worried about any long term turbo damage?
c) Did you replace the oil cooler when you tuned the car?

A) really fast. Stock the car is fast but with a JB4 it really wakes up. It pulls with ease at. Any rpm. On average a JB4 will put you at around 340rwhp on a stock car with just the tune. Torque is higher n comes in instantly. What I like the most tho is howmuch more responsive the trhottle becomes. It looses its lagginess. Just feels like a new car.

B) a lot of frum member have been running like this for a while with no issues. I'm talking over 30-40k. Miles, n I'm sure others longer.

C) no I Didnt. Temp levels have stayed the same. Haven't noticed any change and it gets prety hot here.

Thanks for the responses. I haven't been to any forums yet..something I need to do before I make a purchase.
I have driven many 3ers, but never a 335. I actually almost purchased a red/alcantara 330i ZHP sedan before I found the Audi. The S4 sorta came out of nowhere. In hindsight, I wish I had made the move on the BMW. 3ers truly are remarkable.
Post up a pic or two?

A lot faster, I got whip lash the first time I drove it because I wasnt expecting so much more power. Not worried about turbo damage, I removed the catalytic converters and have great cooling mods. No, I have stock OC, and with a larger FMIC and meth my oil temps stay pretty low.

P.S
I ran a TL-S with an intake last night

I'm not an expert when it comes to the JB3/4 products, but I've heard that 335i and 335xi tunes aren't interchangeable?

Really? That's interesting. I thought the only difference was the AWD system. I guess that would mean the TCM would be different as well, which may be why? Still weird though.

Its not weird because its not true. Link to where you saw that? Tunes are the same for all n54 engines. Bolt-ons will be different, save for intake.

Forced fed you've ever dyno'd it? I'd like to see. I dont really believe the 340whp with tune alone. I mean its possible but you gotta be running extremely high boost.

340whp car giving you whip lash? You must have a rubberneck ..
