quick fog opinion

After spending the morning searching...i just want you opinion on what setup I should go with. I am replacing 04 fog bulbs..... since it is next to my projector I want it to look nice. I live in Florida so fog is not an issue. My car is SSM...should I go for 9006 MTEC blue or ion yellow?

Thanks in advance...
Jeremy

Awwww, yea, I saw SSM after re-reading your post. Tough choice. Blue would look nice with SSM as well as yellow. Is blue legal?

Do you have to break the seal on the lights for this? or is a plug and chug?

its kind of a pain to get to, but you just have to reach behind the light, disconnect the wire connection, and twist out...instructions should be in the manual

Yup, it's plug-n-play.

BTW, I recommend Nokya Hyper Yellow fogs.

Nokya Hyper Yellow FTW

I ve had mine for a year and they are fine. There's a nice contrast between the yellow and bluish xenon. Plus people don't high beam you anymore because they think your standard halogen fog lights are your high beams.

They are also alot brighter!

I'm looking for brighter bulbs, probably yelow b/c they are better for cutting through fog, but I'm also wondering if anyone has tried to take the bulb suround off from inside the housing. I have the aspec kit w/ fogs and if you look at them, it looks like it is just held on there by a philips, but would require opening the housing itself. I do drive in fog, so I'd like all of the light I can get. Anyone tried this?

I tried all sorts of different hyperwhite bulbs in the fogs, and was never able to get it to match the HIDs to my liking. If you want the matching look, you'll prob have to get a HID kit.... I ended up getting Nokya Hyper Yellows... They look must better in my opinion.
