A lot of people say the DDM kit isn't that good. I went with theretrofitsource.com kit. It was $150 and it came with bulbs, ballasts, and wiring harness. You will need the 35 watt kit. If you get the 55w kit you are going to melt your fog housing. And yes the bulb type is H8. You don't need a wiring harness with the kit, but it is HIGHLY recommend in order to save your factory wiring because HIDs draw more current on initial start up. I don't believe that you need an adapter kit and your kit may come with mounting hardware. TRS's kit does, but I used double sided tape to mount the ballasts instead of drilling holes everywhere.

I don't know if it has one or not, I'm just going by my research on this forum before ordering my HID fog kit. Some people love DDM some people think their quality isn't so great.

My original thought was going DDM but after researching how the quality has suffered and their customer service went to crapper, I decided to go with H8 Fog kit from theretrofitsource. But like Machine said, do some research and go by what you decide, there is so many threads regarding this.

I haven't read anything regarding their quality degrading, but I have, however, read about their crappy customer service. I just ordered my fog's from there (35w 3000k). 2 days processing, then they shipped. I'll keep you updated on quality.

p.s. - I ordered the yellow film overlay for my fogs from Lamin-X.

I have the slim DDM 35w kit for my 04-06 fogs. One ballast went bad and took about a week and a half to get a replacement. Didnt have a problem with CS really..

I ordered my 35w kit from them (along with 6000k bulbs for my headlights) back in november last year and i haven't had any problems yet. I did order a generic wire harness from ebay just to be safe and I used some 3M double sided velcro/tape stuff to mount the ballasts. The kit has worked flawlessly since the install. My only complaint was the shipping time...came from China and it was a pain to track. Took about a month to get it. But for the amount of money I saved it was worth it in the end.

I purchased kit for my fogs from theretrofitsource on this Monday. I received them on Wednesday and i installed them yesterday. I love it! I haven't had experience on DDM kit though.

my DDM is going strong after 3 years of use, I do drive the car mostly at night because I work 3rd shift. I guess it just hit and miss, someone might be lucky like me and have no problem and somebody else might having issue with the kit and give it a bad name, I would say just get it. For $50 you can't asking for amazing quality like OEM.
