Question - SonyEricsson T616

Bought the T616 phone today to use with my TL and I have a question to T616 users.

I can't seem to find a way to add timed pauses to the phone numbers saved in the T616. This would allow to save a number plus any extensions and the extension would be dialed after a set timed pause. Can this be done? If so, any support would be greatly appriciated.

When entering the number, at the place of the pause, press the number "7" until you see a "p". Multiple "p's" will lead to a longer pause.

It's been a little while now since I programmed the HFP in the TL, but I remember saying pause, or maybe space and the TL accepted it.

I did space, and coded the extention numbers into TL, however, this stuff seems not working with my voice mail system... maybe I'm wrong?

Anyway, my T610 cannot work with this feature...

Well, the HFL accepted "pause" - good catch Z Factor. Is this documented anywhere? I don't recall seeing it.

Anyway, the problem is, it doesn't actually pause. It just sends all the numbers to my T616 at once.

Any Siemens owners try this with success?

Man, so close!

I have the Sony Ericsson T608. I found you can put a "Pause" in a stored number, though not in a directly dialed by number number. Problem is, when I try to call a phone book entry with a pause in it (actually with to pauses in a row, since that always seems to be needed), it drops the call and hangs up. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe I should try just one pause.

jgrahamiii,

i followed your instructions and programmed *86<pause><pause><password># into my T608 in speed dial entry 11.

i checked, and it worked perfectly with verizon's vm.

This only from the phone. Haven't tried to access my vm thru the HFL yet.

The pause function works from the phone. All the phones I've owned - Nokia, Motorola, and now, Sony-Ericsson - have this.

The question is, how do you get the pause feature in HFL to work with the phone. When you program a pause into a number stored in the HFL phonebook, the pause is ignored and all numbers are sent to the phone at once.
