Question Regarding Canadian DRL

Canadian TLs have Daytime Running Light which is connected in series with another part of the vehicle (can't remember exactly which part it is) and is hence drawing 6~7V only. I replaced the bulbs with 3400K ones, in hope for some white light but they are only a little whiter. Now can anyone please tell me is it true that if i replace those bulbs with higher rated ones (like 5000K) it will get whiter and whiter, and eventually completely white? Like, is it true that a 5000K rated bulb that draws 7V will emit the color of a 3400K(let say) one?

Thanks in advance.

Both DRL lamps are wired in series to each other, thus working only on t Volts. All color temperature ratings are for 14 Volts, and will change dramatically, when connected to 7V.
While your logic is correct, it is hard to tell how lamps will behave.

I replaced my DRLs with "blue" lights but was careful to put in 65W bulbs, not 100W. With 100W bulbs, it was really not bright at all. I think the stock bulbs are 60W. I can't remember the exact numbers, it was a couple months ago.
