i spent much time to research the method for installing base tl aspec front kit onto my type-s. there are many pics of comparison but no installation guides. members mentioned that fog light area difference causes unfitting onto type-s by base aspec front body kit. can anybody help how to modify and install onto my type-s?

 

I'll trade you my 08 base bumper NBP for yours assuming NBP then it will be a simple install...

Are you trying to put the "base" tl lip on or the base tl "aspec" lip on. You do know that there is 2 lip styles for the base tl and one for the type s right. I'm just making sure which lip you are talking about.

I don't think the base aspec lip would fit but you can try to do it and be the first with it. The base lip will fit the type s though with very little cutting but if you want it to look proper then you'll have to take it to a body shop to have them blend it in better.
