question about repair costs..
Hey guys...i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this..but heres the scoop.
I took my car to the shop to get camber kit put on, alignment, front two tires put on, and back rear brake pads put on. ( i bought all of the equipment, tires, pads, camber kit). I left and later called the shop to see how much it's going to be and the guy quotes me $480. He said something about it being a 6 hour job and he had to do something with the control arm blah blah...Does this sound about right or is he pullin my leg? sounds like alot to me but i'm not too sure since this is the first time doin this to my car... thanks guys.

Alignment is about 100, installing camber kit, sometimes they do it free or 1/2hr labor charge, tires 20-40 for each one, brake pads i have no idea. whats he gotta do to the control arm?! You are gettin ripped off. But you should have gotten a quote before taking everything there. Brakes can be DIY, 3G garage has ALOT of information
