question about PIAA wiper refill:

I am going to purchase PIAA wiper refill to use on my OEM wiper, and i have a few questions:

I see that if I buy the refill, the windshield preparation pack is not included. Is it necessary to apply the windshield preparation pack?

You should be OK. The prep stuff only lasts for a short time anyways.

The prep stuff is basically silicone spray with some alcohol in it. You buy a small squirt bottle of it for 4 bux at pepboys or where ever. That is what I did the 2nd time around when I replaced my PIAAS.

So you can just buy the refill wipers and they will fit on our oem metal blades or whatever there called? Also, how much do the refills run?

Yep I just got mine. They fit perfectly in the stock blade housings and work great.

Do a search if you need the part numbers to order on the PepBoys site.

I know a place in New Jersey that sells the whole blade for our cars $15. Its in New Brunswick. I just picked up blades this weekend for $30 bux cash. Not just the refills but the entire blade. Good Deal in my book.

anybody have the carbon fiber blades from PIAA, can't tell how they'd look... I think I'm gonna just go with the refills though.
