Question About A Nasty Body Kit
Im very close to buyin a 08' tl type s. Ive been lookin for two to three weeks, i finally found one that has everything i need and want EXCEPT this NASTY body kit. Is there anywhere i can get the stock parts this car comes with to make it look normal again? any help would be appreciated.

Its stock ish..
It has the OEM Type S Aspec body kit on it.
No new OEM parts needed - just take off the body kit and touch up if necessary.*
*Front bumper and rear bumper - I think I'd just leave the side skirts.

ohhh okay so its just added on to stock. Thanks alot now i can get my new car thank god. The others i looked at were either rims wrecked, stinky inside, over priced, seats falling apart, this was the only good one but had the kit. How is the kit on there i have no clue about stuff like that?

You can always replace the bumper cover with a new one. Or get it repaired and painted. Or get a RonJon body kit. Just a few ideas. Oh, and welcome to Acurazine.

Yeah, I don't have it yet. This body kit I dont like is making this decision very hard for me. What's making the choice easier is my 95 prelude that i cant stand driving to work every night.

If it bothers you that much you can most likely find someone to swap bumpers with on this forum...might be hard finding someone with a similar color but tons of members love the kit.
You will have about 10 holes on each bumper if you just remove it and they are noticable...about 10mm(~~0.5 inch)

is it a full body kit? it looks like it is missing the sides? for what its worth, i love that color on a type-s and i dont loooove the kit for the type-s, but i still like it and would probably keep it on for a while and see if it grows on you. good luck

This color is easy to maintain and looks great in the sunlight. One second your car looks gray then its a strong bronze/brown color. If I were you I really wouldn't be too concerned with the Aspec kit on there now. There are many members here that sit and wait until parts like these come available from other members. Just think that its another $800 your getting in the deal for your car and you would make up a good portion of that if you so choose.....keep us posted on your purchase.....Type-S ftw!!
