Question about 2004 TL with 2007 nose

I just bought a used 2004 TL with a 2007 nose. My question is are the headlights on the 04 the same as the 07?

They are not the same. They fit the same but the 07 has daytime running lights while the 04-06 headlights have integrated foglights

Also the 06+have slimmer ballasts than the 04-05.

So I can get the 07 lights and it should fit just right? This is perfect. One more thing, can I replace the 04 rear lights with 07 or even TL-S rear lights?

Yes they will fit the body lines no problem

Tail light are easy and identical plug and play

As for the headlights, I'm not sure about the wirijng because the ballasts are different
