Has anyone had any issues installing clear protective film on a TL with a Ron Jon kit?

 

I just got my ron jon kit painted this weekend, and was thinking about adding a clear bra. The reason being........ just after a few miles on the highway, the paint seems to chip right off, when in contact with rocks, pebbles etc. I had a hard time getting the kit painted in Atlanta, and now that it is done, the paint looks great, but I don't think it's going to hold up too good, especially on the front bumper.

 

Great idea.

Just find an experienced installer who will fix you up with a custom kit. For someone who is good at it, it will not be a big deal.

Sweetness...a third gen ron jon TL in the ATL...maybe i'll see ya around town sometime...would love to see the kit in person. I just got my clear bra installed by stone x. They did a pretty good job. Thanks for the tip on the clear bra install Warren, I'll check them out. I have a few minor things to do on the car, and once I'm done, I'll be glad to show it to you, or anyone else in Atlanta.

 

If you have any luck finding someone I will go in on one as well, if it helps our rate out. I'm getting my front bumper repainted in 2 weeks just after 3K miles with the kit on. If I have any kuck in Florida I will let you know as well.
