ok so for" a few dings and scratches" you repaint the whole car. i like it, but seems like a lot of work for such a little thing.
I was in NY for about 3 days for a wedding back in May. I parked in front of the church. as i was coming out for some fresh air, i see some dickhead in a Caravan who has somehow jammed his bumper up my fender and was trying to get it out.
Me: WTF are you doing?!
Her: OMG, im so sorry, I didn't see your car!
(She drives one of those old Caravans that are really low, I have an '03 Type-S, really bright and shiny, no way she didnt see it)
Me: Hey! can you stop your car?
her: (still scraping her car against mine) Sorry, I need to get out
me: ill help it (yank out ignition)
Her: hey! youll hurt my car!
me: thats gonna cost you atleast 500 bucks for the damage
her: I aint payin you shit
me: ill call the police
her: okokokokokokokokok heres $600 (gives me the money
Me: Good. now get out of the car (i have her under my control now)
her: (stepping out) why?
me: let me show you how to get out of an accident
i call about 5 guys out, and together, we lift the entire front end up and turn it a safe distance from my car.
Me: oh, that;s definetely more than 600
her: (whipping out another 400) here, just, leave me alone!
Me: Gladly
I have so many stories like this, its not even funny

type...thats funny see what i mean... well theres was about at least a ding or scratch in every panal. so u know how cant jus paint a spot u gotta paint the panel then blend into the next. we'll by the time all the dings were takin care of it just made sense to paint the car since it really costed me jus materials. plus pearl white is hard to match, you know that

leop. i hear you on that one man. i think ima just stop driving the TL, but then again whats the purpose of owning it right. well i guess its like what they say, these cars are like hot girls, u wana ride? its gona cost u. hahha....but yea i apreciate that bro. if you ever need anything done im right off the GW bridge. take it easy bro

Damn yo, that looks like such a wasted effort, no offense, but all that trouble to look like every other TL off the lot. I would have done something just a little un0ordinary, like the Lexus Pearl or even a bluish tint in the clear or something, anything.

Thanx bro. i actually ended up goin with 3 coats of pearl and 3 coats of clear
.i did think of doing another color, but hey y waste the time, my car would lose more value. i rather keep ot the same color but with much more shine...n thats not even wet sanded n buffed yet. u can only imagen when shes done....deff gona update as we go

I got my car back from the dealer man... Time to gimme back my rims!!!! Dealers r a$$holes.... dealer wanted me to put back my stock wheels cuz the leather on my passenger headrest was fading... "ur car is too modified for any warranty work". Lol what kinda shit was that?
