progress of the TL in the body shop n a escalade we finished 56K RIP
So i put my Tl in the shop yesterday. had a few dings scratches and things here n there so im getting that done. i also decided to go with the MARY KAY pearl. what the hell i wasnt my WDP to be a lil diff than everyone here on the forum. so its now a WMKP...lol i thought i might add in some pix of an escalade we finsh enjoy guys and suggestions n comments welcome.

the mary kay is caddilac special edition pearl. yea we do everything man, as soon as the car is done. im getting a set of 20's matching color, nice drop and re-doin the system. the paint job to be honost i havent decided how much i would charge someone yet cuz idk how much time it will take till my guys are finished with my car...but i will keep you posted

im in the bx on webster, my house is actually in mahopac but i have ab apartment in morris park. as soon as im done with it. im moving back to mahopac. i mean for me to do it for someone. the car has to be in 100% condition, no dings or dents or scratches. if there is repair needed it would be a lil more. but to do the diff pearl i would get about 2000 thats doin the door jams as well

ugh... escalade is ghetto.
looks like some good paintwork... you seem pretty picky.
Just curious, given your picky nature, how do you plan to keep that finish flawless? You live in NYC... There ain;t a car on the streets that's flawless.
Nature of the beast living in the city. From the time I spent there, I'd drive a beater, otehrwise I'd have a heart attack from being pissed off at the new "ding of the week".

im just gona move back into my house in mahopac park in my driveway. i thought i'd save myself the 45 min ride one way by gettin a apartment here but i lost it in the shape my car is in now

so i have jus decided to stay with the stock pearl. but instead of one coat. two and 3 coats of clear. to many negative reactions about the mary kay

lol...well the damage was barley visible, but they were small dings, scratches, couldnt live with them expecially that i had a body shop.but. i just picked up the paint and pearl, DUPONT. xosted me 550 for a half gallon of white half gallon of pearl, gallon of reducer, and gallon of clear coat. i will have pix up but tonight
over my pearl... complaining that it looks pink at night... lol

willd do. im trying to get a legend from my brother in law so i dont have to drive my TL to work. b/w parking on webster ave and morris park, my car gets destroyed. im just sick of it. so i jus plan on leaving the car in my driveway. as soom as im done gona throw some 20's most likely body matched. and drop the car. so we'll see. deff keep u guys posted

if you had just a few dings then what was the reason to redo the whole car...you have done prep work on nearly every panel, as if the car is much older and in worse shape than it was.
