Thumbs down Problem with RockBlocker Customer Service?

Has anyone else had a problem with RockBlocker's customer service? A very good friend of mine purchased some taillight and side marker covers from them. They ended up sending a set for an older TL. My friend contacted RockBlocker and informed them of the mix up, they then told him to send them back and they would send out a new set once they received the incorrect ones back.

A few weeks went by and my friend had not seen the new set come in yet, so he called RockBlocker and inquired about the status. He was told that there was some sort of mix up and that they would be shipped promptly. This was probably three to four weeks ago. Now when my friend calls, no one answers. He has left messages on their voice mail, and also emailed them. He has not received a response from anyone there. So, here it is about a month and a half to two months later and nothing has been resolved. I know that they are a sponsor here and hope that they will make the situation right. But, I would like to know if anyone else has had similar situations like this with them.

Thanks

Maybe they have some internal issue/ management etc... They were really good when I was buying films from them.

It kind of sounds like a fluke, because I have heard other stories of people buying products from there or refering people to them, but I am definitely not buying anything from them after the poor service that my friend got.

My Rockblocker experience 4 years ago was a disaster. The only reason I didn't post my story was that I struck a deal to get a refund and keeping my mouth shut was part of it.

Based upon what I went through, I wouldn't do business with them if my life depended on it. The chief there .... I think his name was Chad, sounded and came off like a hot shot steam rolling loudmouth lawyer on the phone. I made it abundantly clear to him that he was dealing with a businessman who grew up on the streets of NYC, not some skokie from penokie, Iowa or some shit. I assure everyone that had I posted my story, he would never gotten as much business from AcuraZine members as he has.

I had him by the gonads, and he knew it.

The vendor used to post up here. He was pretty attentive back then but I have heard stories lately that things are lagging........Must be a similar story to what happened to Tec-Toyz with the LEDs. Sad because they could be making good money based on the foundation of a good reputation they both had. I liked both the guys who ran them. I guess it's down the drain now.
