Red face Pricing on '07 TL Type S. Should I Buy or Nah

So I finally went to see this 07 type s I'm trying to purchase, the car has 109,356K miles and they are asking for 14,991. After inspecting wit my
Mechanic the car looks to be in good shape, new break pads, breaks, & tires. However on the carfax the car was in an front-end accident. It doesn't say on the carfax if air bags deployed or not and I also asked them if they know of the 105k inspection was down, which they do not know. They give a 60-day unlimited mileage return. I prices the car on edmunds and on clean it's worth 14,351 and average is 11,456. I'm asking does everyone think the price is fair or can it be talked down and how.

Also they did agree to allow me to take the car to the Acura dealership around the corner to see if they can tell if the car has been serviced or not.

Sorry for being long. Just wanted to be detailed...thanks All!!

Definitely see if the 105k was done, if not, you can work the price down A LOT, typically, that service can be around $1000.

Even if it was done, I'd definitely bring them down in price.

Good luck, I'd also have your mechanic inspect the front to see if everything was properly repaired.

My opinion......doesnt sound like a good deal. There are soo many ifs here and the price does not seem all that great for a car with that kind of mileage.
So you have no clue if the timing belt has been. I always say assume that it has not been done. Then the accident the car was in. It could be a little parking lot bump, or it could have been a major crash where the entire front of the car was smashed with airbag deployment. So with such high miles, no idea about timing belt, and accident history I personally say keep looking.
I could see that being a reasonable price IF the car was accident free AND the timing belt service was verified complete. There are tons of Type S's out there (well automatic ones anyway), so try your best not to rush into a particular one just because its there.

Hope this helps.

Sounds a little high to me too. I just paid 17,200 for mine with 79k. Got it from an Acura dealer its a one owner no accidents all services done and documented through Acura. I'd honestly keep looking.

I'd move on, you don't want a car that had a front end crash.

Front end crash.....

Not sure about the 105,000 mile service....

I'd look for another one....
