Prices on 2005s
The two Acura dealers in my area have quite a few cars Like these One year old, off of a corporate lease (according to carfax), and with relatively low miles.
$31,500 - $32,000 seems awefully steep for a car with 1/4 of its warranty gone and an original invoice and destination price of less than $31,000.
The black bookwholesale on these is $27000 - $28600, Edmonds has trade-in value at about $26000. It seems like I should be able to get one of these for $28000.
So. Two questions.
Has anyone out there bought a similar vehicle and for how much?
Cars like these that come off of "corporate" lease - what exactly does that mean? I have seen other cars reported as rentals, so I'm guessing corporate lease means something else.

My last car was 1 year old when I got it off a "corporate lease". A '99 Grand Cherokee LTD with 30k-something on the ODO when I got it. It's original sticker was around 38k and I got it for a little over 20k (with a Jeep, it's much better to get one used.. initial resale is terrible). It was previously leased by a local Cafe who used it for deliveries of cakes and other stuff they made/sold.
A corporate lease can mean a lot of things. It could be that a large company leased it for a C-level and up executive... or it could simply be a "for the books" transaction for a very small company where the owner uses it as a regular car, but takes the tax write-off by leasing it under the company name.
If I were you, I would either look for a better deal or suck it up and buy a new one for those prices.
