Price quotes via the internet

What are the best internet services I should look into to getting the best deal on a 04 TL? Or is it just best to try and haggle with a couple different dealers?
Thanks in advance.

go to acura's site and get a list of dealer's close to you. you can fill out a request for quotes and some will email you back with a quote. i sent emails to 14 dealers near me and got back quotes from about 6 of them. alot of them do not give you a price and try to get you to call or come in to work you a bit. but i have gotten pretty decent quotes from the ones that did give me a number.

My experience has been rather poor. I e-mailed dealers in AR, MS, LA, AL, FL, and MI. I only got a handfull of replies. Most were very reluctant to give a price. Sometimes I had to go back-and-forth 4 times before getting their first quote. All quotes I received were for suckers, meaning only a few humdred under MSRP, at MSRP, or over MSRP (with dealer add-ons).

I don't mean to sound so negitive, but I'm a little disallusioned by the experience. I've been trying to buy for a couple months now and still don't really have anything that's near acceptable.

Recommend reading posts related to the subject, reading Edmunds.com buying tips, and that you be patient during the process. The demand will taper off, and they will be more receptive to a lower bid.

I seriously hope you have better luck than I did.

yeah most dealers will not give you a price until you go in and negotiate. but just do a search on this board for prices and you will see what people are paying. you will definitely know if they are trying to work you. remember they do want your business and will come down in price after a little chit chat.
