just wanted to say, since the new TL design came out I HAVE BEEN OBBSESSED! since im not of legal age to drive (14 years old) i ahve been bothering my paerents like crazy to get one. I wanted to know what prices you got your TL for, maybe that would persuade my father We are from nassau county (long island, NY) so if any one leased or bought/leased a TL in the area please tell me your prices. thanks alot.

Also, are there going to be any changes for the '06 any one know?

Im 15, perrmit in 6 mos, I am doing the same. Have your father test drive the one WITH navi, once any normal man sees it, he will want it(I admit there are few exceptions). I have a 21 page persuasive essay for my father if you would like to see it, send a private message. It worked, at least on my mother, she is getting it later this june or july, with navigation. With navigation, if you are a good at bargaining you can get into the low 32s, but expect 33. Without nav is 2k less. But check out some threads on it, you will change your mind.

 

glad to hear someone else is as obseessed its not my mom that isnt sure, she was sold as soon as i convinced her to test drive it. She loves it also but she just got a new car last summer, an '04 toyota highlander. she was deciding between the two while i was away for the summer, and without me there to convince her to buy the TL she decided she needed more space and went with the small SUV. As far as my dad test driving it, he feels like A) he doesnt want to waste a sales persons time, and B) once he drives it hell be sold. Which i dont see the problem with "b" but, he just has to drive to the train so he doesnt want to. For a man of his age (55) he has a pretty cool car i think, but it is getting up there in years. its a 1999 limited subaru legacy 2.5 gt sedan.
maybe i'll take you up on that persuasive essay LOL. BTW my mom has been bugging my dad in private also, so we are making progress ill happily report if we buy the car. MY dad and i love the Anthracite. interior maybe quartz, not sure. but he plans on leasing without navi. he doesnt want to put the extra $ in for a lease.
