Power Steering Return Hose ID?

Anyone know the inside diameter of the power steering return hose to the reservoir?

This is older thread. But it might be 5/8" hose sized. I am trying to figure that out as well. But the metal pipe lines appear to be 10mm.

Actually I believe it is 3/8". Right before I did the power steering flush, I bought a new PS reservoir from Honda to replace the original one, which was pretty dirty. I took the new reservoir to Lowe's and matched it up with a 3/8 double sided metal barb fitting, and purchased about 6' of 3/8" ID clear tubing and two metal hose clamps. When I did the PS fluid flush, I drained all the fluid out of the reservoir. I disconnected the return line and used the barb fitting to connect the return line to the hose I bought from Lowe's using the hose clamps. The end result was not a single leak. I had read about guys using this size hose and that size hose trying to either get it around or inside the return line, and duct tape to try and keep it from leaking, but I didn't want to go that route as with my luck I'd have the PS fluid all over the garage floor.

5/8" - outer
3/8" - inner

I just did the power steering fluid flush and had to divert the return hose to an empty jug to drain the old fluid. I used vinyl tubing that can be purchased by the foot at Lowe's, $2 and change for 4 feet which was plenty.

Thanks for the info. Very good to know.
I bought the Honda Accord V6 return pipe "B" yesterday at the dealer for $30.48 for my TSX
I fill go fight with the car to remove the old rotted one today and compare to the Honda part.

I will post here if it fits or not later today.
