Next Saturday I am planning on picking up a 2004 gray Acura TL with 93k Miles on it. I already had the car looked over by a mechanic and he gave the car a good to very good rating but said some work would need to be done in the near future.

Here is what he said the car would eventually need:
New rear brakes and bearings
Timing Belt
Muffler fixed (currently one of the pipes is bent at the end)

Outside of those issues the car itself is very nice, the current owner garaged it since he bought it brand new, it only has a few minor scuffs, and the interior is very nice and clearly hasn't been beaten on.

How much should I expect to pay for all of this? Also, what price should I be paying for this vehicle? I gave him an offer for 10k... Does that sound about right?

10k seems about fair. What price did he give you? I would start low and negotiate up. Im not sure how much you are willing to pay. Make sure it has a clean carfax. You would need the upcoming 105k service tho.
