Possible new 07 TLS owner

Hello everyone,

I'm basically posting this to get some feedback. Right now I'm debating purchasing a TL, well, because Ive wanted to get one for a few years now. Ive been looking around Craigslist recently and come across a couple that I'm interested in. I want you guys' feedback on any problems or tip me over the edge to the Acura side. I previously owned a 97 Camaro, which an old lady hit me in a parking lot and destroyed the car I took great care of for 5 years... long story short, dreams shattered and I'm looking for a new ride.

Thats the car I'm looking at the moment. Do you guys think the price is right, and are there any major defects/problems that are common with this year/model??

Second one I'm looking at:

Again, is there anything I should know?

I really like the style of the Acura TLs... And thats a lot coming from a Chevy owner. I like how the 04-06 TLs look, but I like the mechanics behind the 07 TLS, and would prefer to get a 6spd TLS if the reasons are right. Id like to purchase one or another, but I want to learn in addition to what Ive already researched on them... If you have info or reasons to push me to the Acura world, please let me know. Thanks for any help, I appreciate anyone's input!!

-Justin

Get the TL-S!! Very sporty looking car and it comes with the luxury feeling as well. I'm pretty sure you can go lower with the dealership on that TL-S. My car had 50k miles and I was able to grab it for 24k out the door. Things you should be looking at while looking at the cars is the electronics and stuff. Make sure everything works, but luckily I believe you still have the 50k warranty. Things I had the dealer fix was the trunk button didn't work and the passenger mirror makes some awkward clicks when i back up.

Like you, I was undecided between the TL or the TL-S. But i eventually got the TL-S because I had a feeling that I would regret going with the regular TL in the future. Plus, I've gotten quite a few compliments just parking it at the beach the other day and the car is still stock ^^

Thanks for the feedback! I was lookin around a little bit more today, and ideally kinetic blue pearl is the color I like most on the TL. I found one today at a dealership a couple hours away, and the price seems about right with KBB... Everyones lookin for a deal though, right? haha. http://stock.theahana.com/cars/2008/...S/6546578.html

The more and more I read about them, the more I want one. The newest car Ive owned was a 97, so I need a step into the future! haha
